Zzzzzzz *snort* zzzzzzzz uh. Oh. Right the blog. Hold on a sec. Wait, we're on the air?! Now?! Oh great. Hello folks! Welcome to day two in the land of Oz.
Today's Schedule: Noon- Homeless/ 6 p.m.-Meeting with Adam.
Well, I stayed up really late last night so, I woke up about 11 a.m. And we had to be gone by 12. So I scurried about getting ready, all of that stuff.
We call the taxi people, and the minivan pulls up and we get in. Just like any other institutional visit. In the car, my dad gives us the run down on the visit.
"So we are gonna get there a little late, because we don't want the interrupt the pastors sermon. So I'll go and check to see if the sermon is still going on and we'll wait in the taxi if it is, and go in if it isn't."
O.k. we all agreed. So we pull up to the building, and dad gets out, and goes around the building to the doors. We wait patiently in the car and... the father returns.
He is smiling so we begin to get out.
"No no!" he said, rushing to the taxi, "The doors are locked and the lights are out. They aren't here!"
We all laughed because that meant we had a day off. So what else was there to do but go shopping?
My mom and I went shopping. We got our annual matrushka doll, (nesting doll) and explored an underground mall.
Then we went home and figured out how to operate their "new" T.V.
After we got the sound working, we got half of the video working, we couldn't get it in color. So I watched Tom and Jerry in black and white.
I took a nap.
And after my nap, we had pre-dinner next door with our friends Adam and Irina. After that, we had real dinner of FABULOUS cutlets and now e are vid chatting with Natalie! So ya... pretty lazy day...
If you want to ask questions please go ahead and ask. I check the comments everyday. So if you want a virtual tour of the flat or anything, just ask. So... ya. Ttyl.
